Electromechanical temperature controller for front panel installation (with bimetal compensation)

Description

The robust electromechanical temperature controller from Leitenberger Mess- und Regeltechnik GmbH has been specially developed for front panel installation and impresses with its high reliability and precision. Equipped with a bimetal compensation system, this controller offers precise temperature control, ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.

Product details:

• Material: Housing made of galvanized sheet steel with a clear glass front panel.
• Measuring system: Double Bourdon spring measuring system with temperature compensation.
• Scale length: Approx. 270 mm with a scale division of 1°, 2°, 5°, or 10° depending on the measuring range.
• Measuring range: Adjustable from -80°C to +380°C, depending on customer requirements.
• Accuracy: Class 2 according to DIN 16203 with display deviations of approx. ±2% of the measuring range.

Functions:

• Contacts: Equipped with a single-pole changeover contact, adjustable over the entire range.
• Switching capacity: 5A/3A at 125/250 VAC.
• Switching hysteresis: Switches on falling or rising temperature with a hysteresis of approx. ±2% of the measuring range.
• Mounting: Simple mounting from behind with clamping bracket.
• Protection class: Housing IP 53 and terminals IP 00 to DIN 60529.

Extended options:

• Protection class IP 55 when using a cover cap.
• Contact adjustment optionally with a screwdriver or special key.
• Fixed switching point or stop for the maximum set value, without adjustment option, available.

Recommendations: To protect against switching overvoltages with inductive loads, we recommend the use of an RC element for spark suppression. Inductive loads should generally only be switched via suitable contact protection relays.
